If your hands are greasy or dirty they can disrupt the adhesive bond of tape.
If the tape or the surface is too hot or too cold it won t stick.
Sometimes even after prepping the surface of your project with rubbing alcohol or smoothing a wooden surface vinyl takes some time to adhere.
If it s sweltering outside wait until the evening when it cools down to apply the tape.
This is very simple and saved me so much wasted vinyl product.
